The framework agreement between Armenia and the United States on Trump Route for Pease and Prosperity (TRIPP) has been officially signed, Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Following the signing ceremony, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that the process of signing the Armenia-US TRIPP Framework Agreement has now been completed.
“Moments ago, before your eyes, I signed the US–Republic of Armenia Framework Agreement on TRIPP. As you may recall, the document was initialed by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and myself during his visit to Armenia on May 26,” Mirzoyan said.
He noted that Secretary Rubio has since added his signature to the agreement, after which the document was sent to Armenia for the Armenian side’s signature.
“I have now signed the agreement on behalf of Armenia, and thus the remote signing process has been completed,” Mirzoyan stated.
According to the foreign minister, the agreement is now ready for the ratification process.
