Around 13,000 attend Armenian State Symphony Orchestra’s 20th anniversary season finale gala

The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra brought its 20th anniversary concert season to a festive close on the evening of July 21 with a spectacular open-air gala at the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden of the Cascade Complex in Yerevan.

Around 13,000 music lovers gathered for the event, transforming the venue into a vast open-air concert hall. Under the baton of Maestro Sergey Smbatyan, audiences enjoyed masterpieces of the classical repertoire alongside selections from some of the orchestra’s most popular projects.

The season-closing gala once again demonstrated the power of symphonic music to bring thousands of people together, creating a unique cultural atmosphere in the heart of Yerevan.

The concert followed another major milestone in the orchestra’s anniversary season: on April 14, more than 7,000 people attended the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra’s performance with internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

The orchestra now looks ahead to its upcoming concert season, which promises new projects, fresh collaborations, and exciting musical discoveries.

The 20th anniversary concert season’s general partner was GTB Holdings.
