President of France Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Armenia to participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community (EPC).
The French leader was welcomed at Zvartnots International Airport by President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan, and Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.
President Macron is also scheduled to begin an official state visit to Armenia on May 5.
Armenia is hosting the 8th EPC Summit in Yerevan, bringing together European leaders and senior officials for discussions focused on regional cooperation, security, and political dialogue.
