
Armenia’s Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan participated in the meeting of environment ministers of the Group of Seven (G7), an event of particular historical importance in shaping global environmental policy.
Ahead of the official agenda, Matevosyan held informal exchanges and meetings with fellow ministers and heads of delegations, emphasizing the importance of deepening international cooperation and ensuring coordinated joint action in addressing environmental challenges.
A series of working sessions are scheduled throughout the day, focusing on key global priorities, including the protection and restoration of oceans, biodiversity conservation and financing mechanisms, as well as combating desertification, sustainable water resource management, and the interconnected challenges of environment and public health.
