
The swimming pool at the Tsaghkadzor Main Sports Complex has officially been licensed as a European-standard aquatic sports facility by the European Aquatics Federation.
The new accreditation will significantly expand the opportunities for hosting athletes and international training camps in Armenia, boosting the country’s profile in aquatic sports.
The license was presented by Josip Varvodic, First Vice President of the European Aquatics Federation. “The pool has been built in line with European and international standards. All the facilities here are excellent,” Varvodic noted.
Vardan Zakaryan, Director of the Tsaghkadzor Sports Complex, emphasized the importance of this milestone for the development of the center. “First and foremost, this licensing comes with serious responsibility. It opens a new pathway toward Europe, which is a major achievement for the complex,” Zakaryan said.
The licensing of the Tsaghkadzor swimming pool marks a new chapter in the development of aquatic sports in Armenia, paving the way for broader international cooperation and competitions.
