President Vahagn Khachaturyan begins working visit to Syunik Province

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has embarked on a three-day working visit to Syunik Province.

The visit began with a consultation meeting chaired by the President. Among the participants were Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, representatives of law enforcement agencies, and heads of local communities.

During the meeting, Governor Ghukasyan presented a detailed report on the implementation of sectoral programs in the region, highlighting both the progress made and the ongoing challenges. He also outlined the measures being taken to overcome these issues.

Minister David Khudatyan briefed attendees on the government’s initiatives and ongoing projects in Syunik, providing an overview of state-supported development plans aimed at boosting the region’s infrastructure and services.

President Khachaturyan inquired about the overall situation in the province, including the socio-psychological climate. Representatives of law enforcement agencies and community leaders shared their assessments and insights on the current conditions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Khachaturyan responded to questions raised by local authorities, addressing key domestic and foreign policy priorities of the Armenian government.
