The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia has officially launched the Virtual Institute for Artificial Intelligence, a strategic national platform aimed at uniting innovators, researchers, and tech companies to drive AI development.
Supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Mistral AI, the platform will provide expert mentorship, cloud-based tools, and access to cutting-edge AI models. AWS will offer technical support and learning resources, while Mistral AI will provide access to its advanced open-weight models and free API use for selected participants.
The initiative aims to promote AI research, product development, and international visibility for Armenian startups and researchers. A call for applications will be announced soon.
