
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a visit to Turkey, lit a candle at the Holy Mother of God Patriarchal Church in Istanbul.
The Prime Minister shared a video of the visit on his official Facebook page, writing: “I lit a candle at the Holy Mother of God Patriarchal Church in Istanbul.”
Earlier today Prime Minister Pashinyan met with representatives of the Armenian community of Turkey.
Pashinyan is leading a high-level delegation to Turkey on June 20. As part of the visit, he is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The Armenian delegation includes Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, who also serves as Armenia’s special representative in the normalization process with Turkey.
