Armenia will host the 6th Conference of Ministers of Culture of the International Organization of La Francophonie in 2027, the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport informs.
The decision was approved during the Conference of Culture Ministers in Quebec, Canada. Armenia’s candidacy was approved unanimously and the decision was included in the final declaration of the conference, which is expected to be approved by the La Francophonie.
“We will be happy to hold the 2027 conference in Armenia,” reads the document.
Armenia will also host the La Francophonie Sports and Culture Games in 2027.
