Armenia’s newly appointed Ambassador to Japan vows to contribute to deepening of bilateral cooperation

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Japan, Ms. Monika Simonyan, presented the copies of her credentials to Mr. Miyashita Tadayuki, Head of the Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Miyashita Tadayuki congratulated Ambassador Simonyan on her appointment to a responsible position, wished her fruitful work for the further development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Japan, as well as expressed readiness of the Japanese side to provide all support in future activities.

Ambassador Simonyan assured to spare no efforts to raise the awareness about Armenia in Japan, as well as to contribute to the deepening of bilateral cooperation, attaching particular importance to the strengthening of political dialogue, the promotion of trade, economic and business ties, the expansion of the legal framework, the development of cooperation in the educational, technological and humanitarian spheres, the activation of mutual tourist visits.

The sides emphasized the shared common values, such as democracy, the protection of human rights and the rule of law.
