Development of relations with Georgia among Armenia’s foreign policy priorities – PM

Development of relations with Georgia is one of the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a congratulatory message to his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze on the Day of Restoration of State Independence.

“The success achieved in various spheres in Armenia-Georgia relations in recent years is the result of mutual commitment and joint continuous efforts at the highest and interdepartmental levels, thanks to which bilateral relations were raised to a qualitatively new level, a strategic partnership,” PM Pashinyan said.

He highly appreciated the support of friendly Georgia for the “Crossroads of Peace” project presented by the Armenian government, aimed at promoting communication and cooperation between the countries of the region, as well as the steps taken by Georgia in favor of the process of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
