On May 14, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan delivered a statement within the framework of the United Nations Peacekeeping Ministerial Meeting.
Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Suren Papikyan reiterated Armenia’s support for international peacekeeping processes and presented the country’s new commitments: providing appropriately trained personnel for involvement in UN peacekeeping missions, organizing international peacekeeper training courses in Armenia, and implementing actions to support the increased participation of female peacekeepers in UN missions.
