
Armenia knows the deep pain of enforced disappearances, the Foreign Ministry said on the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances.
“On International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, we honor those unjustly taken and denied their rights. Armenia knows the deep pain of enforced disappearances and remains committed to seeking justice for all victims and their families,” the Min8stry said in a post on X.
Around 1,000 are missing since the beginning of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in early 1990s, of which 300 went missing between 2020 and 2023 after the start of the Second Artsakh War.
