President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the French Embassy in Armenia on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of France.
The President congratulated the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Armenia, Olivier Decotigny, and on his behalf, the friendly people of France, wished success and all the best.
“I also wish you strength to overcome these difficult times. By difficult I mean for democracy. Please also convey my best wishes to Mr. Macron, and in fact, what he is doing now is for the sake of democracy,” the President of the Republic specifically noted in his speech.
The Ambassador of France to Armenia, in turn, thanked for the visit and good wishes. “Your visit is a great honor for us, it also speaks of your love and friendship for our people. The values of the French revolution are freedom, equality and fraternity, and they are the same principles that we share with Armenia,” said Ambassador Olivier Decotigny.
