President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan held a private meeting with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha on July 14.
President Khachaturyan extended his heartfelt condolences to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar on the passing of Qatar’s Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, wishing them strength and resilience during this time of mourning.
During the meeting, the Armenian President noted that under Sheikh Hamad’s visionary leadership and sweeping reforms, the State of Qatar experienced remarkable progress and development. He also highly praised Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s contribution to strengthening and deepening relations between Armenia and Qatar.
The two leaders also discussed the bilateral cooperation agenda and exchanged views on regional developments.
