
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže.
Braže congratulated Mirzoyan on the victory of the Civil Contract party in Armenia’s parliamentary elections and reaffirmed Latvia’s strong commitment to the continued development of bilateral partnership between the two countries.
The two ministers discussed issues related to Armenia-Latvia cooperation, emphasizing the importance of concrete steps aimed at expanding trade ties.
In this context, Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for Latvia’s support in facilitating the export of several shipments of flowers from Armenia. He noted that the initiative would serve as an incentive for strengthening ties between the business communities of the two countries and for developing new avenues of trade cooperation.
The ministers also exchanged views on the Armenia-European Union partnership agenda and upcoming contacts.
