
The “OTHA SPRING 2026” international conference held at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia brought together mathematicians from 12 countries to discuss current issues in operator theory, harmonic analysis, and their applications.
The conference was organized jointly by the Institute of Mathematics and the Southern Federal University of Russia.
Welcoming participants, Director of the Institute of Mathematics Rafik Aramyan said the conference serves as an important platform for presenting new scientific achievements in mathematics. He noted that the event unites specialists from different countries and strengthens international academic cooperation.
Director of the Regional Research and Educational Mathematical Center at Southern Federal University, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Professor Alexey Karapetyants highlighted that holding the “OTHA SPRING” conference in Armenia has already become a tradition. According to him, this year marked the fourth time the conference was hosted at the Institute of Mathematics.
Karapetyants added that the conference continues to expand annually, attracting participants from more countries and covering a broader range of research areas, thereby fostering a wide international expert community.
During the two-day conference, leading scientists from United States, Austria, Germany, Spain, Israel, Italy, Armenia, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Georgia, and Finland delivered presentations.
The conference proceedings will be published in the Springer Nature journal Journal of Mathematical Sciences.
