The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the newly reached ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which includes provisions for the release of hostages and the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the ministry praised the “tireless efforts of mediators led by former U.S. President Donald Trump” in facilitating the agreement, expressing hope that it will contribute to “lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.”
“The ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which also secures the release of hostages and ensures free access of humanitarian aid, is a significant step toward easing tensions and preventing further civilian suffering,” the statement said.
Armenia reiterated its support for diplomatic solutions to regional conflicts and underscored the importance of international mediation in achieving sustainable peace.
