Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi.
The interlocutors discussed the development of bilateral relations, touching upon current initiatives on the agenda and upcoming high-level contacts. They also addressed opportunities to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including through strengthening business ties, promoting people-to-people contacts, and boosting tourism.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Ayman Al-Safadi exchanged views on the regional security situation and the resulting humanitarian challenges. They also discussed steps toward establishing peace, the existing challenges along that path, and the efforts being made to overcome them.
The ministers further exchanged views on key issues related to cooperation within multilateral platforms.
