A sixth Cypriot national has entered Armenia from Iran, according to reports on Friday, with efforts underway to arrange their return to Cyprus.
The Cyprus News Agency (CNA) said the individual joined five other Cypriots who had previously crossed into Armenia overland from Iran. Those five have since departed the country.
Separately, CNA reported that nine Cypriots and their family members who had been in Israel were repatriated to Cyprus via Athens.
This follows the evacuation of ten people who traveled by land from Israel into Egypt and then boarded a Greek Air Force flight to the Elefsina airbase near Athens.
