Armenia and Azerbaijan are close to signing a peace deal, EU High Representative for Foreign Affair and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said as arrived at the meeting of the European Political Community taking place in Tirana.
“It’s in everybody’s interest that they sign this peace agreement so that we have one conflict less,” she told journalists.
“I was in Azerbaijan, and I’m also going to Armenia. It’s important to take the tensions down in this region,” she said.
