Later today trucks loaded with medical supplies and food will cross Margara bridge ahead to Syria to deliver humanitarian aid sent by the Armenian Government, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan said in a post on X.
He appreciated the cooperative approach of Turkish colleagues regarding this humanitarian mission.
The Margara checkpoint on the Armenian-Turkish border will be opened from March 21 to 31 to transport humanitarian cargo to Syria through Turkish territory. The decision was adopted during the Government sitting on Thursday.
