
Leonhard Baumgartner from Austria has been named the winner of Eurovision Young Musicians 2024 in Bodø, Norway. Sweden’s Hugo Svedberg (Cello) was the second followed by Germany’s Fabian Egger (Flute) in third place.
Armenia was represented by Hayk Hekekyan (Oboe).
The 21st edition of Eurovision Young Musicians took place tonight at Stormen Concert Hall in Bodø in Norway. Silje Nordnes and Mona Berntsen presented the show. Performers from 11 countries competed for the title, all accompanied by the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, which was conducted by Eivind Aadland.
A jury of international music experts determined the top three and overall winner of the competition. Each juror awarded a mark from 1 to 10 based upon specific criteria; technical level, quality of sound, musicianship and interpretation, as well as communication.
