Georgia declares state of emergency over COVID-19

Due to the situation caused by the new coronavirus, Georgia has declared a state of emergency until April 21, the Armenian Embassy in Georgia reports.

The announcement has been made by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

The Prime Minister has already addressed Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili regarding the state of emergency

The question will be put on a Parliament vote.
