Turkish writer and publisher Ragip Zarakolu is again in Armenia. He met with young historians and experts of Turkish studies at the Western Armenian Research Center.

Zarakolu said there is a destroyed bridge near Ani and reminded that Hrant Dink was struggling for its reconstruction. However, there are people in Turkey, who are afraid to restore it.

The Turkish publisher said there are very few Turkish translations of Armenian works, unlike the Greek, Italian, Jewish and others. Zarakolu said it’s not only the bridge between the Armenian and Turkish literatures that has been destroyed. Thus bridge between the Armenian and Turkish societies has also been ruined, he added.

It’s worth mentioning that Ragip Zarakolu visited Nagorno Karabakh, as well.
