
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed bilateral relations and international issues during a phone call, highlighting the constructive nature of ties between their countries, the Kremlin press service said.
According to the Kremlin, the two leaders reviewed current issues on the bilateral and international agenda and noted the constructive character of Russia-Azerbaijan relations, as well as the increased dialogue between the two governments and relevant ministries and agencies.
Putin and Aliyev also reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, the statement said.
