A delegation of the German Bundestag led by Johannes Volkmann visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial on June 30.
The delegation included representatives of both the ruling coalition and the opposition in the Bundestag.
The lawmakers laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide and observed a minute of silence at the Eternal Flame in tribute to the victims.
The delegation was welcomed and accompanied throughout the visit by Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
