
Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili, accompanied by Armenian Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Mkrtchyan, visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ 112 Operational Management Center and the Patrol Service administrative complex.
During the visit, Minister Tamazashvili toured the facilities and familiarized himself with the infrastructure of the Operational Management Center, the Patrol Service administration, and the work of the subordinate units.
At the Operational Management Center, the Georgian minister was introduced to Armenia’s European-standard 112 call management system, which has integrated emergency calls for the Rescue Service and the Police into a single unified platform.
The Georgian delegation was also briefed on the functions of the citizen reception unit, the administrative proceedings department, and the complaints review division.
As part of the visit, Minister Tamazashvili toured the complex’s armory, shooting range, and gym, where he learned about the facilities created to support the physical and tactical training of patrol officers.
The delegation was also presented with the technical capabilities and equipment of the electric patrol vehicles used by the Yerevan Patrol Regiment.
