Armenian, Indian Prime Ministers discuss bilateral ties in phone call

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Modi once again congratulated Pashinyan on his victory in Armenia’s parliamentary elections and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Pashinyan thanked Modi for the congratulations and, in turn, congratulated the Indian leader on becoming the longest-serving elected prime minister in India’s history, wishing him continued success for the prosperity and development of India.

The two leaders underscored the importance of the continued development of friendly Armenia–India relations and expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation. They highlighted the need to intensify political dialogue and expand cooperation in the fields of economy, high technology, education, culture, and other areas of mutual interest.

The prime ministers also discussed issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation and reviewed steps aimed at further deepening relations across various areas of the Armenia–India agenda.

The sides emphasized the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits to further strengthen cooperation and advance new initiatives between the two countries.
