President of the European Council António Costa, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola have arrived in Armenia to participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community (EPC).
The high-ranking European officials were welcomed at Zvartnots International Airport by Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Alen Simonyan.
The summit, hosted in Yerevan, has brought together dozens of European leaders to discuss regional security, political cooperation, economic connectivity, and challenges facing the European continent. Armenia is hosting the EPC summit for the first time, underscoring the country’s growing engagement with European partners and its role in regional dialogue.
The European Political Community was launched in 2022 as a platform aimed at fostering political coordination and cooperation among European countries on issues of common interest.
