Armenia Receives First Batch of High-Performance AI GPU Equipment

Armenia has received its first batch of high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) hardware, marking a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to build advanced digital infrastructure and position itself as a regional technology hub, Armenia’s High-Tech Ministry informs.

The delivery, announced by Eleveight AI, includes powerful GPU-based computing equipment designed to support large-scale AI workloads. The shipment is part of the Armenian government’s broader “AI Factory Parks” initiative, aimed at developing next-generation data infrastructure and expanding access to advanced technologies.

Officials say the arrival of the equipment represents both a symbolic and practical step toward strengthening Armenia’s computational capacity and global digital competitiveness. The development follows a strategic meeting held on December 25 between Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and Eleveight AI leadership, during which expanding AI infrastructure and improving technology accessibility were identified as national priorities.

“This is more than just a delivery of high-performance computing equipment — it is the realization of our vision and a decisive step toward defining Armenia’s place in shaping future technologies,” Hayrapetyan said. He added that the new infrastructure will empower local innovators, enhance computing capabilities, and accelerate digital transformation across both public and private sectors.

Arman Aleksanyan, founder and CEO of Eleveight AI, described the milestone as a breakthrough moment for the country. “This infrastructure delivery is a real step toward making Armenia a global AI hub,” he said. “It reinforces our partnership with the government and opens the door to world-class computing, research, and commercial AI development right here in Armenia.”

The newly delivered systems are expected to serve as the backbone for high-density GPU computing, enabling advanced AI research, enterprise-level applications, and scalable cloud services. The initiative is also intended to support startups, businesses, and research communities by providing access to cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

Eleveight AI is developing Armenia’s next-generation AI data center and technology hub, equipped with advanced computing systems tailored for machine learning, deep learning, and AI-driven innovation. The company aims to help bridge global computing gaps while fostering sustainable technological growth in the region.
