
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired consultations on the plan for the start of infrastructure works at the Academic City.
Representatives of the Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers company, which has designed the master plan of the Academic City, presented the planned activities for the infrastructure works according to the schedule. In particular, they relate to water supply, gas, electricity, transport and other infrastructures. The design of railway, bus, passenger car routes, as well as bicycle paths were presented.
The socio-economic component of the Academic City, strategic economic development, and the framework vision of urban development were discussed.
Representatives of Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers answered the questions of the participants of the consultation and provided clarifications on the organization of the works and upcoming steps.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the strategic importance of the Academic City project and attached importance to the effective implementation of the planned works. The Prime Minister instructed to form a working group with the participation of representatives of the responsible departments to carry out the infrastructure works in a coordinated manner in cooperation with Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers.
