Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has offered condolences to Deputy Prime Minister and Acting President of the Republic of Korea Choi Sang-mok on the tragic plane crash that occurred at Muan International Airport.
The telegram reads:
“I learned with deep sorrow about the tragic plane crash that occurred at Muan International Airport in the Republic of Korea, which claimed the lives of many people.
I express my sympathy and support to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing them strength and a speedy recovery to the injured.”
Scores of people died when a passenger jet crash-landed in South Korea on Sunday. Two crew members were the only survivors after the plane, which was carrying 181 people, landed on its belly, skidded off a runway and burst into flames.
The aviation disaster is South Korea’s deadliest in more than two decades.
