Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Thursday (December 19) said unity between the EU and United States was necessary to bring peace to Ukraine.
“This is very important, we need this unity to achieve peace and I think only together, the United States and Europe can really stop Putin and save Ukraine,” Zelenskiy said, after arriving at a summit of EU leaders in Brussels.
Protection of Ukraine’s energy sector, an increase in Ukraine’s arms production and urgent help for the education system will be on the agenda during the visit, Zelenskiy added.
