Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says he has asked a number of high-ranking officials to leave their posts.
“The reasons for the request are systematic, not personal,” the Prime Minister said in a Facebook post.
“At the same time, I cannot deny the merits of our mentioned partners in the development of our statehood and I thank everyone for their contribution and understanding of my request,” the Prime Minister wrote.
Karen Andreasyan, Chairman of the State Judicial Council and Sasun Khachatryan, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee, have already announced their resignation.
