Second Armenia-UAE Business Forum held in Abu Dhabi

On October 9, the second Armenian-Emirati Business Forum was held at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.

Ahead of the forum, a meeting took place between H.E. Mr. Haykaz Nasibyan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, and H.E. Humaid bin Salem, Secretary General of the UAE Chambers. Both sides celebrated the impressive growth in trade between Armenia and the UAE, which has now exceeded 4.2 billion US dollars.

The meeting was also attended by H.E. Juma Mohamed Al Kait, Assistant Undersecretary for International Trade Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Economy, Mr. Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Mr. Karen Grigoryan, Armenian Ambassador to the UAE, and H.E. Dr. Nariman Al Mulla, UAE Ambassador to Armenia.

During the forum, Mr. Haykaz Nasibyan delivered a speech, followed by a presentation from Mr. Armen Deroyan, Manager of Investment Promotion at “Enterprise Armenia,” highlighting Armenia’s favorable investment climate.

The forum also featured B2B meetings between business representatives from both countries, spanning sectors such as tourism, construction, real estate, food industry, agriculture, IT, and more.
