Armenia to showcase literature at Warsaw International Book Fair

Armenia will take part in the Warsaw International Book Fair on May 28-30, presenting a wide range of literary works and publications at its national pavilion, according to the Embassy of Armenia in Poland.

Located at pavilion 6/D14, the Armenian stand will feature books by both classic and contemporary Armenian writers, along with publications by Armenian and international authors dedicated to Armenia and Armenian history. The collection is available in Armenian, Polish and several other languages.

As part of Armenia’s participation, a series of literary presentations and cultural events has also been scheduled.

On May 29 at 16:00, visitors will be able to attend the presentation of the Polish edition of Hangover by renowned Armenian writer Hrant Matevosyan.

The following day, on May 30 at 13:00, books by contemporary Armenian authors Aram Pachyan and Lusine Kharatian – P/F and Dead-end Forget-me-not – will be presented.

Later on May 30, at 18:00, the Armenian pavilion will host the presentation of Armenian Fairy Tales, a publication translated by young members of the Armenian diaspora in Poland.
