Arman Tsarukyan and Shara Bullet battle to draw in Hype FC grappling clash in Yerevan

Top UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan and middleweight standout Shara “Bullet” Magomedov fought to a draw in a highly anticipated grappling bout at the Hype FC event held Tuesday at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan, Armenia.

The submission-only match saw Tsarukyan take the initiative early, using his grappling skills to pressure Magomedov and land multiple takedowns, including a powerful slam in the closing stages. Despite Tsarukyan’s aggression and control throughout much of the bout, neither competitor secured a submission before time expired, resulting in the official draw under the event’s rules.

Tsarukyan, currently ranked among the top lightweights in the UFC, entered the bout following a strong run of performances in both MMA and grappling. Magomedov, known for his striking acumen and recent victories in the UFC’s middleweight division, brought size and strength to the matchup but was unable to finish the contest.

The explosive main event capped off a sold-out card and has sparked conversation among fans and analysts, with many praising both fighters’ tenacity in a closely contested submission-only showdown.
