US President Donald Trump says a ceasefire between Israel and Iran is “now in effect.”
Trump announced the ceasefire several hours ago, but Israel is yet to comment, while Iran says it will only stop its attacks if Israel does the same.
A fresh wave of missiles were fired by Iran on Tuesday morning, Israel says, killing four people.
Tehran also faced a barrage of missiles overnight.
In Iran, state media says the ceasefire was “imposed” on Israel following the “successful” Iran attack on the US base in Qatar on Monday.
Iran launched missiles at the US airbase in response to strikes on its nuclear sites on Saturday. Qatar said all the missiles were intercepted.
