
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a meting with his Albanian counterpart Edi Rama on the sidelines of the 6th Summit of the European Political Community.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia to Tirana and noted that the meeting will contribute to the further development of relations between the two countries and help outline the promising directions of cooperation.
Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and expressed confidence that the meeting will give a new impetus to further cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the strengthening of political dialogue.
During the meeting, the leaders of the two countries discussed issues on the agenda of Armenia-Albania relations, touching upon the prospects for cooperation in various fields.
The sides also exchanged views on regional issues. In particular, the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan was discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of signing a peace agreement in order to ensure stability and lasting peace in the region.
