Under the ‘State and Resilience Building Contract for the Republic of Armenia’ budget support programme, this week the European Union paid a €1.5 million grant to the Armenian Government in addition to €13.5 million disbursed in September, the EU Delegation in Armenia informs.
This budget support programme is to support the Government of Armenia in addressing the short-and medium-term needs of Karabakh Armenians, as well as enabling their long-term socio-economic integration ensuring inclusion in the Armenian education, social protection and healthcare systems and integration into the labor market.
