Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with experts from Iranian analytical centers within the framework of an expert workshop titled “Armenia-Iran: The Process of Cooperation and New Perspectives” organized by the Public Relations and Information Center of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The Secretary welcomed the experts’ visit to Armenia and highlighted the importance of such workshops are aimed at strengthening trust and transparency between political circles and representatives of the expert community. Grigoryan presented the process of development of Armenia-Iran relations and emphasized the importance of boosting the economic ties.
Secretary Grigoryan briefed the guests on Armenia’s “regionalization policy,” the “Crossroads of Peace” project put forward by the Armenian Government, and Armenia-West relations. He touched upon the negotiation process for the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and its latest developments.
