Three-time world bronze medalist, four-time European champion Arsen Harutyunyan reached the semi-finals of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
In the quarterfinals, the Armenian wrestler suffered a painful defeat from the representative of Uzbekistan Abdullaev. If Abdullaev reaches the final, Arsen will have a chance to compete in the repechage and fight for the bronze medal.
Earlier today Harutyunyan wrestled with Mexican Rona Bravo-Young in the opening 1/8 finals and won a crushing victory over his opponent with a score of 11:2.
