Armenia and Azerbaijan continue to make significant progress toward finalizing a peace agreement, Spokesperson for the US Department of State Matthew Miller said at a daily briefing.
“We are committed to supporting that process. As you have heard us say, the time for peace is now, and we continue to work to try to reach an agreement,” Miller said.
The Spokesperson declined to comment on the EU decision to provide 10 million euros in assistance to the Armed Forces of Armenia.
