Armenian chess players are among the leaders in the international chess tournament, the Chess Federation of Armenia informs.
There are 3 rounds left to the end of the “8th Batumi Municipality Cup” tournament and now international master Stefan Poghosyan is the sole leader in group A, who has 5 points out of 6 possible.
Grandmaster Levon Babujyan and FIDE master Simon Mkrtchyan have 4.5 points and occupy the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
Menua Hakobyan is the sole leader in group B, who won all 6 games.
Arayik Yavryan, who has 5.5 points, is the sole leader in Group C.
Gor Grigoryan and Armen Harutyunyan, who have 5 points, are the leaders in the group of boys under 12 years old.
In the group of girls under 12 years of age, Angelina Mirakyan is the sole leader with 5.5 points.
Mikael Sargsyan is the sole leader in the group of boys under 10 years old, who has 5 points.
