Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has offered condolences over the demise of third President Serzh Sargsyan’s spouse Rita Sargsyan.
“I was saddened to hear about the untimely death of Rita Sargsyan, the wife of the third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan,” Pashinyan said.
“As Chair of the “Donate Life” Foundation Board of Trustees, Mrs. Sargsyan played an important role in supporting Armenian children battling blood cancer by helping to address a number of issues in the field of child health. Healthcare and educational institutions were rebuilt thanks to her activity,” he added.
“Mrs. Sargsyan also carried out valuable social and public activities, encouraged the activation of cultural life,” PM Pashinyan said.
On behalf of his family, Nikol Pashinyan offered condolences to the mourning family of Sargsyans.
