Draw is not enough, FC Ararat-Armenia head coach Vardan Minasyan wants a win in the second leg of the Europa League play-off round.
“We have to keep the same way, act aggressively in defense and try to be effective in the attack,” Minasyan told a pre-match press conference in Luxembourg, where Ararat Armenia is set to face F91 Dudelange.
Ararat-Armenia beat Dudelange 2:1 at home.
Success in the upcoming game will book a place in Europa League group stage.
He hailed the way the rival likes to play.
“They like to play with the ball, they want to control the game. If you give them time and space, they will play. Therefore, we have to be aggressive,” the manager said.
He assessed the chances as 50/50, despite the fact of F91 Dudelange being more experienced in European cups.
The Armenian team held a training session in Luxembourg on the eve.
