The Mi-24 helicopter belonging to the Armed Forces of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic was hit as a result of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side during a training flight at about 13:45.
The incident took place at the eastern section of the line of contact between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh, Press Service of the NKR Defense Ministery reports.
The rival continues the shelling, the Ministry said. Probe into the details of the case is under way.
