Armenian Ambassador to Switzerland Charles Aznavour was a guest of honor at Round 4 of the Zurich Chess Challenge 2014.
In Round 4 Armenian GM Levon Aronian beat Hikaru Nakamura of the United States. Magnus Carlsen of Norway also defeated Fabiano Caruana of Italy on Sunday. Former World Champion Vishy Anand (India) scored his first victory of the tournament against Boris Gelfand (Israel).
“Today’s game is dedicated to our legend Charles Aznavour, who was so gracious to visit me here in Zurich,” Aronian said in a Twitter post after he scored a victory against Nakamura.
