The Compass Band will represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song “Sweetie baby.”
The national selection final took place in Yerevan on September 30. The winner was chosen by a 50/50 voting system involving televoting and jury votes from among 17 entries.
This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Amseterdam on December 1st. Twelve countries will participate in the contest: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Israel, Moldova, the Netherlands, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine.
